Air Fryer Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Delicious appetizer combining Italian sausage and creamy cheese, stuffed into tender mushroom caps and cooked in an air fryer.

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Gently wipe the caps with a damp cloth.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling generously.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms in the basket without overcrowding.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the mushrooms are golden brown and tender.
  8. Remove the mushrooms and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm as finger food. Great with marinara or ranch dip. Can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge.
