Amazing Apple Pie Taquitos

A delightful twist on a classic dessert, these apple pie taquitos combine the comforting flavors of apple pie with a crispy texture, perfect for any occasion.

  • 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
  • 2 cups apple pie filling (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup plant-based butter (melted)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and half of the sugar.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat, place 2 to 3 tablespoons of the filling on one edge, and roll tightly. Use melted butter to seal.
  4. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet, brush tops with remaining melted butter, and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
