Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole

A creamy and nutritious casserole made with broccoli and cauliflower, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the broccoli and cauliflower for 3-5 minutes in boiling water, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper, mixing until smooth.
  4. Fold the blanched vegetables into the cheese mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional vegetables or different types of cheese. Can be made ahead of time.
