Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Crispy, spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are a plant-based alternative to traditional buffalo wings, perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of water or plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of buffalo sauce
  • Cooking oil (for spraying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Gradually add water or plant-based milk while stirring to create a smooth batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter until fully coated, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Lightly spray the coated cauliflower with cooking oil.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and toss the florets in buffalo sauce until well coated.
  7. Return the sauced cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with optional dipping sauces.

Notes

Consider pairing these bites with ranch or blue cheese dressing, and celery and carrot sticks for a complete appetizer experience.
