Ingredients
Scale
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound chicken breast, sliced
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
12 ounces fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water, add fettuccine pasta, and cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes). Reserve about a cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through, remove and set aside.
Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
Combine Ingredients: Return chicken and shrimp to the skillet, add cooked fettuccine, toss gently to coat. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Use gluten-free pasta for dietary preferences. Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter option.
