Candied Pecans

Delicious candied pecans that add a sweet and crunchy twist to salads, desserts, or enjoyed as a stand-alone snack.

  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pecans with melted butter and stir well to coat all pecans.
  3. Add brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract, mixing until evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the pecan mixture in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden and fragrant.
  6. Let cool completely before serving, allowing them to harden and develop a crunch.
