Cheesy Garlic Cruffin Bliss

A delightful hybrid of a croissant and a muffin, filled with creamy cheese and garlic, perfect for brunch or as a snack.

  • 2 sheets Refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups Mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves Additional garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll both sheets of refrigerated crescent roll dough and flatten them out.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped chives, and shredded cheddar.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the flattened dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and seal the edges.
  6. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Grease a muffin tin with the melted butter.
  8. Place the dough slices upright in the greased muffin tin.
  9. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, additional minced garlic, chopped chives, and kosher salt, then brush it over the dough slices.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.
