Creamy Coffee Swirl Cheesecake

A delightful cheesecake combining rich cream cheese and bold coffee flavors, perfect for coffee lovers.

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed espresso or cold brew coffee
  • 1/3 cup chocolate ganache or chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream until well combined.
  7. Divide the mixture into two bowls.
  8. Add brewed espresso to one bowl and mix until combined.
  9. Pour the plain cream cheese mixture into the crust, followed by the coffee mixture.
  10. Use a skewer to create a marble swirl effect.
  11. Drizzle chocolate ganache on top and create a light swirl.
  12. Bake for 55-65 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly.
  13. Cool the cheesecake in the oven for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  14. Serve with whipped cream and optional garnishes.

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for the best texture. For a creamier texture, consider using a water bath while baking.
