  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs to create an egg wash.
  4. In a third bowl, place the crushed cornflakes.
  5. Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, dip in the egg wash, and roll in the cornflakes.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with dipping sauces.

You can customize the spices and use different cereals for coating. Serve with a variety of dipping sauces and fresh veggies.
