Delicious Christmas Sprinkle Buttermilk Bread

  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Red and Green Sprinkles
  • 2 tablespoons Coarse Sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated.
  6. Gradually mix in the buttermilk and vanilla extract.
  7. Fold the dry mixture into the wet batter until just combined.
  8. Gently fold in the red and green sprinkles.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
