Honey Butter Chicken

A delicious and comforting dish featuring crispy fried chicken thighs coated in a rich and sweet honey butter glaze.

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the flour mixture.
  2. Coat the chicken thighs evenly in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat a generous amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In a separate pan, melt the unsalted butter, then stir in the honey and soy sauce until combined.
  5. Coat the fried chicken thighs in the honey butter glaze.
  6. Serve hot, optionally with rice, vegetables, or a salad.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider baking the chicken instead of frying. You can also add fresh herbs for a burst of flavor before serving.
