Hot Chocolate Balls

Delightful chocolate orbs that dissolve in warm milk to create a rich and creamy hot chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in short bursts and stirring in between, or use a double boiler.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa powder and powdered sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into the cocoa and sugar mixture, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add milk and vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture and stir until blended.
  5. Spoon the mixture into silicone molds, leaving space at the top.
  6. Place mini marshmallows on top of the mixture in each mold.
  7. Freeze molds for about 15 minutes until solid.
  8. Gently remove the hot chocolate balls from the molds.
  9. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Notes

Try using flavored chocolate chips or adding spices for a customized flavor.
