Maple Peanut Butter Pancakes

Fluffy pancakes infused with rich peanut butter and sweet maple syrup, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, peanut butter, egg, maple syrup, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet; cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form.
  6. Flip pancakes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with extra maple syrup and optional toppings.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing the batter. Feel free to experiment with toppings like fruits, nuts, or chocolate chips.
