Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic (optional, minced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, removing the stem end and any damaged leaves.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and minced garlic (if using).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve warm as a side dish or snack.

Notes

For added sweetness, drizzle honey or maple syrup before roasting. Don’t overcrowd the sprouts on the baking sheet for best results.
