Salted Caramel Apple Mini Pies

Delicious mini pies filled with sweet apples, warm spices, and drizzled with salted caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pie crusts
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; toss until well coated.
  3. Unroll the pie crusts and cut circles larger than the muffin tin’s holes.
  4. Press the dough circles into the muffin tin.
  5. Spoon the apple mixture into each crust, filling them three-quarters full.
  6. Drizzle salted caramel over the apple filling.
  7. Place more dough circles over the top and seal edges well.
  8. Brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack; serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Pair with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with extra salted caramel for serving.
