Steak, Egg, and Cheese Bagel

A hearty and delicious bagel sandwich packed with protein, creamy cheese, and customizable toppings, perfect for any meal.

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 pound shaved steak
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 2 bagels, halved and toasted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • Hot sauce or sriracha for a spicy kick
  • Fresh avocado slices for a creamy twist

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and dried dill; set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté sliced onions until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add remaining butter, then beaten eggs; scramble until fluffy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add shaved steak, Montreal seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce; cook until steak is browned, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  5. Toast bagel halves until golden brown.
  6. Assemble sandwich: spread sauce on bagel halves, layer with steak, scrambled eggs, sautéed onions, and cheese; add avocado and hot sauce if desired.
